Does benzoyl peroxide make your skin super sun-sensitive?

i am using a 2.5 benzoyl peroxide lotion on trouble spots, and i have heard that AHAs make your skin sensitive to sun.

It sounds like I use the same type of product, and they do. I learned the hard way and got severe sun poisoning on my face. However, my dermatologist recommends putting on a oil free sunblock to help.
